Job Description:

Within this role, the Electrical Apprentice's main responsibility is to provide assistance to the lead engineer whilst onsite. They assist with and complete maintenance work, as well as orders on electrical equipment. This includes testing malfunctioning equipment, identifying defects, troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and replacing defective parts.

Salary:

  • First Year:£13,312 - £14,289.60
  • Second Year: £17,888 - £18,012.80
  • Third Year: £23,795.20 - £25,792
  • Fourth Year: £25,147.20 - £27,705.60

If you are 19 or over and have completed your first year with us you are entitled to the national living wage for your age, which is £8.60 if you are 18-20 years old and £11.44 if you are 21 and over, we will pay you either the banding rate which is above or the national living wage for your age, depending on which is higher.

Location:

We are based in and around London, as our head office is in Whyteleafe, so the apprentice will need to either meet an electrician on the way to work to support them with travelling to work, or meet them at the site, we would recommend the candidate to have good transport links into London as this is where lots of the work will be based. (Please note: Driving license is not required)

Any previous qualification required?

Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grades 9-4 including English and Maths, for an advance apprenticeship.
