Job description

The main purpose of this role is to deliver an effective administration service, supporting the office and site teams. The chosen candidate will also be trained on the call centre department.

Key responsibilities

  • Must be professional and of the highest standard
  • Greet visitors to the office politely and inform meeting staff of their arrival
  • Supporting colleagues with customer correspondence
  • Provide an efficient, courteous and professional service to all telephone callers
  • Record or transfer accurately all incoming or outgoing messages to the relevant department or person
  • Be fully conversant with all functions of the telephone/switchboard
  • Take meeting minutes where requested
  • Type up meeting minutes, when passed distribute to all meeting attendees
  • Date stamp, action and distribute post
  • Order stationery when required
  • Maintain confidentiality of private and confidential information
  • Ensure correct internal and external distribution correspondence
  • Provide copying/printing and scanning services
  • Produce letters, presentations, binding and laminating
  • Carry out filing as per standard filing system

  • Some experience in a similar role
  • Familiar with all Microsoft software and be computer literate
  • Confident, organised and self-motivated
  • Able to work with a diverse range of people
  • Demonstrates eye for detail and commitment to delivering excellent standards
