Calling all Clarion Housing residents! Applications are open and we are looking for five of you to become members of our brand new Customer Committee.
For your time and commitment, we will pay you £2,000 over the course of a year to help make a positive difference at Clarion.
As a member, you will represent communities, voice opinions and feedback on the services we run.
No previous experience or professional skill set is necessary, so we are encouraging everyone to apply. All we ask for is a positive attitude to work alongside us.
Your time is our priority, so we will be as flexible as we can to suit your needs and ensure your involvement doesn’t affect any paid employment, work commitments or childcare arrangements.
If digital equipment is needed, we can provide this for you to take part in group meetings online.
We will also cover your costs if you have to travel for an in-person meeting.
The role and its benefits
We want the Committee to represent the communities we serve and for our members to come from a range of diverse backgrounds. Everyone will be considered for the role.
You will be supported along the way by an experienced Board member to ensure you succeed in the role.
This is a brilliant opportunity for your personal development and will look great on your CV.
Your commitment
- The Customer Committee will meet four times a year. You will also be required to take part in training sessions as appropriate, and a yearly review.
- It is important you read any reports or documents sent to you before meetings, in order to take part effectively and give us your honest feedback for suggestions and improvements.
- You should be able to develop working relationships with other Committee members and staff at Clarion.
If you are passionate, willing to speak up and want to make a difference, take a look at how to apply below.
Eligibility
- You must be an existing resident, leaseholder or shared owner.
- We will not be able to accept your application if you are in arrears or in breach of any part of your tenancy agreement.
