  • Play areas and private spaces to enjoy.
  • A thriving neighbourhood with community facilities at its heart.
  • Pedestrian links to West Ealing’s shops and transport connections.

Residents, neighbours and local stakeholders have been involved with Clarion Housing and Ealing Council throughout the development of the detailed design proposals for a new Sherwood Close.

About Sherwood Close

Sherwood Close is a 1970s council-owned housing estate with 209 homes in West Ealing. In 2008, Ealing Council identified that major works were needed to bring Sherwood Close up to the government’s Decent Homes Standard. There were also problems of antisocial behaviour, a lack of family-sized homes and poorly lit internal corridors.

The council worked with residents to consider the estate’s regeneration and set up a residents’ steering group. In 2012, this steering group, alongside the council, chose Clarion Housing (then called Affinity Sutton) as a development partner to regenerate Sherwood Close.
