Planned investment impact

In 2018-19, we invested £89m in improvement works to your homes and communities: completing almost 23,000 individual jobs with a 92% satisfaction rate.

Keeping your homes and local communities in good long-term condition is hugely important to us. We survey them regularly to plan future improvements.

These improvements include new kitchens and bathrooms, upgraded heating systems, electrical testing, rewiring, replacement windows, new external doors and replacement roofs. Larger projects range from improving energy efficiency to improving communal facilities, such as replacing lifts.

A range of contractors work with us to deliver your improvement works and they are also committed to investing in your communities through local initiatives and training opportunities.

Highlights in 2018-19 include installing outdoor gym equipment, creating sensory gardens and running cooking classes, as well as numerous job, apprenticeship and training opportunities.

“I cannot improve on the work – spot on! Pleasure working with the team: bent over backwards – no job too small. Everyone was available for queries. No problems.”
