Explore the new, interactive edition of Your Clarion – our quarterly magazine for Clarion residents.
In this issue, you’ll find local community news and national updates focused on the range of opportunities available to you through Clarion Futures.
In this spring edition of Your Clarion, I’m delighted to introduce a special Clarion Futures takeover.
Clarion Futures, our charitable foundation, works to create vibrant communities and transform lives. All our residents are given access to a core range of services, each designed to enhance futures and maximise opportunities.
Between these pages, we’ve blended our usual mix of news, features, and tips with a Clarion Futures flavour, delving into the charity’s vital work and celebrating its achievements across the country.
The past year has seen youth unemployment increase significantly and we want to help remedy this. Clarion has, therefore, joined the government’s Kickstart Scheme, an initiative that aims to provide high-quality work placements for 16 to 24-year olds.
We’ll be inviting 300 young people to join us at the start of their careers, giving them support, guidance and invaluable work experience. Find out more on page 12.
For all our residents, we offer opportunities to help shape our services and your communities. The new Clarion Voice Email group is a simple way to get involved and have your say. It offers benefits including feedback on consultations and research, a quarterly snapshot on activities in your region, and a chance to take part in surveys.
We hope you enjoy this issue, and wish you all the best as the Covid-19 lockdown restrictions start to ease.
