Give your feedback to Government on fire safety

In December, the Government published Building a Safer Future: An Implementation Plan, setting out how it will deliver the recommendations from Dame Judith Hackitt’s review of building regulations and fire safety.

Following the tragic fire at Grenfell Tower in 2017, the Government committed to not only deliver the practical and regulatory changes needed to make buildings safer, but also to work with residents and building owners to make sure people feel safe in their homes.

As well as developing a package of measures to ensure residents are equipped with key building, fire and structural safety information, they want to explore how residents can be best empowered to play a direct role in keeping their own buildings safe.

As a result, the Government has launched a call for evidence into how residents and landlords work together to keep their homes and buildings safe.

With the deadline for feedback approaching on 12 February, if you'd like to have your say on fire safety, now's the time to do it.

We are encouraging all our customers to provide their feedback directly to the Government, particular customers who live in apartments or multi-occupancy properties.
