This opportunity is available through our supply chain, with BJF Group. Please note this role is in the Maidstone area in Kent.

As a Business Administration Apprentice with BJF Group, you will have the opportunity to kick-start your career in a progressive and supportive environment whilst gaining nationally recognised qualification (Level 3) in administration – gaining exposure to working projects whilst being supported on a guided learning journey.

As an Administrator, you will support the MEP division in delivering projects. The ideal candidate will be a conscientious, ambitious and committed individual, who has an eye for detail, as well as a genuine passion for organisation, administration and continued personal development.

This role will provide support with various administrative functions across multiple divisions in the wider business and will play a key part in the smooth running of overall office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the control of project documentation and helping to improve document control procedures
  • Sorting, storing and retrieving electronic/hard copies of documents on behalf of clients and industry professionals
  • Following up on administrative actions and requests
  • Providing general office support for clients and colleagues
  • Maintenance of project-specific databases and spreadsheets
  • Drafting business communications and following up on previous correspondence
  • Gathering, inputting and managing of company data
  • Participating in meetings and taking meeting minutes

Key Skills/Qualifications:

  • Three GCSEs at Grade 4/C or equivalent – preferably in Maths, English and Science
  • An interest in Construction/Built Environment would be preferred
  • Demonstrable MS Office knowledge
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a pro-active attitude
  • Commitment to learning and personal development
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload
Please note if you already have a Level 3 Business qualification (BTEC or A Level) then you are not eligible to complete this apprenticeship.
