Bricklaying Apprentice - Ealing

This role has been made available through our subcontractor, Lee Marley.

Lee Marley is looking for a Bricklaying Apprentice to join their project in Ealing. You will work under the direction and guidance of experienced tradespeople and supervisors on a range of new and existing buildings, while working towards and achieving a Level 2 qualification in Bricklaying. You'll also be part of a supportive team that works hard together and takes pride in getting the job done safely and to a high standard. If candidates are selected for a place on the apprenticeship programme, they will first complete a paid work trial, giving them the opportunity to experience working on site before officially starting their apprenticeship.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Set out and prepare work areas in accordance with site plans and levels
  • Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry units to required lines, levels, and specifications
  • Mix and use mortar and other materials safely and correctly
  • Use and maintain hand tools and equipment properly
  • Maintain good housekeeping, keeping work areas clean and safe
  • Attend college on a block or day release basis and complete all required coursework and assessments
