This position is made available through our contractor, Arvag Ltd.
Arvag is a multi disciplinary property service contractor delivering fire safety, compliance and refurbishment and environmental services across the UK.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in carpentry and joinery. Full training will be provided, both on site and through formal training, working alongside experienced tradespeople.
Candidates should be locally based in Orpington/Bromley or able to commute to Sevenoaks if required.
About the Role:
- Assisting skilled FRA carpenters and joiners on a variety of projects
- Learning all aspects of FRA carpentry and joinery
- Using hand and power tools safely
- Working on site and occasionally in workshops
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety
Requirements:
- Based around Orpington/Bromley for pick up on a daily basis OR around Seven Oaks where the work will be completed
- A genuine interest in FRA carpentry/joinery
- Willingness to learn and work hard
- Reliable, punctual and motivated
