Facilities Services Operative Apprentice - Camden and Islington

Samsic are looking for a reliable and professional Facilities Services Operative to support the cleanliness, presentation, and day-to-day readiness of conference rooms and shared office spaces across two London office locations in Camden and Islington.

In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitising meeting rooms, restocking supplies, preparing spaces for scheduled meetings, arranging furniture to the required layouts, and reporting any faults or maintenance issues. You will play an important part in helping us maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for colleagues and visitors of these locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitising conference rooms and shared spaces.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and emptying bins.
• Restocking room supplies and consumables.
• Preparing meeting rooms to the required layout and standard.
• Reporting hazards, maintenance issues, or stock shortages.
• Following health and safety and safe working procedures at all times.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in commercial or office cleaning or facilities support (preferred but not always required).
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Basic understanding of cleaning methods, hygiene standards, and safe usage of cleaning products and equipment.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude.
