William Sutton Prize Scholarships

Are you passionate about shaping the future of our built environment? The William Sutton Prize Scholarships provide financial support, mentorship, and career opportunities for students in Architecture and Sustainability.

Scholarship applications now closed

Launched in 2025, The William Sutton Prize (WSP) Scholarships were created to support talented students from lower-income backgrounds by removing financial barriers to higher education. This year’s scholarships focused on two key areas: architecture and sustainability, helping to nurture future leaders in building inclusive, climate-resilient communities.

Applications are now closed, and we are grateful for the strong interest shown by applicants, and for the continued support from our partners and wider network.

Scholars will be selected following the release of A-level results in August and will be invited to join us at The William Sutton Prize Awards Ceremony in September.

‘Going to university had always been a big dream of mine, but coming from a low-income single-parent household, the idea of pursuing higher education was overwhelming. Nevertheless I was determined to look at what help was out there. The scholarship is incredible as it covers my full tuition fees and living expenses and also includes internships and mentoring. It has changed my life in countless ways.’
