Thank you to all the staff and residents who took part in Clarion’s Pride month of activities in support of the LGBT+ community. In a normal year we would have attended Pride celebrations throughout the summer in the communities where we provide homes. We take part to show our support for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans communities and to reaffirm that Clarion Housing Group values and respects diversity and inclusion.
This year, with the country affected by the coronavirus outbreak, we instead held a virtual Pride month in July to show our continued support of the LGBT+ community. Residents and staff took part in the ‘Pride Inside’ festival: a collaboration from Amnesty International, UK Black Pride, ParaPride and Gendered Intelligence. This truly intersectional festival had workshops, webinars, performances and socials. If you missed these festival some of the sessions are still available to view here.
