We have two London-based apprenticeships with our Estates Services team, who help to ensure our estates are kept well maintained and safe, creating places our residents can be proud to live.

You will benefit from working alongside an experienced mentor, who will support you to gain a qualification in Facilities Management.

Apprentice Caretaker

£18,620 per annum (£8.95 per hour)

Located in Hackney, in this varied role you will be responsible for providing a high-quality caretaking service to residents, ensuring that our estates are clean, tidy and safe. It involves inspecting and cleaning all communal areas, such as sweeping, mopping, litter picking and rotating bins. You will also be responsible for carrying out health and safety checks and reporting bulk rubbish, graffiti and abandoned vehicles.

Apprentice Environmental Caretaker

£18,620 per annum (£8.95 per hour)

We are seeking a number of Apprentice Environmental Caretakers in Havering, Rainham and Hackney. You will work with your mentor and colleagues to ensure the cleanliness, safety and security on our estates, such as cleaning communal pathways, removing bulk rubbish, reporting repairs and removing graffiti where possible. You will also be required to carry out minor repairs and maintenance. Please note that for this role you will need to hold a full valid manual UK driving licence.

Central to both of these apprenticeships is the delivery of great customer service at all times, developing good communication with different teams and observant of improvements that need to be made.
