Brought to you by Clarion Futures, the Enterprising Futurz business start-up programme provides all the necessary tools and resources you need to get your business off the ground.
The programme features a variety of courses and mentoring to help refine your idea, build that crucial business plan and apply for grants and further funding.
Supporting and guiding you step by step through the process, the comprehensive programme covers the following topics:

- Practical business planning
- Market research
- Financial planning
- Book-keeping, tax, VAT and NI
- Legal and legislation
- Customer service
- Marketing and social media
- Networking
- Better off calculation
- Funding
The programme runs for 13 weeks, starting from the date of your initial appointment, known as the mentoring phase, which helps you build a viable business idea alongside BSU related training and workshops.
By week 14, you will move into the Business Development phase and will have a further 13 weeks in which to start trading. However, our programme is flexible, with accommodations made for those who wish to move through the process at a faster pace.
