If you’ve been thinking about working in the security industry but aren’t sure where to begin, we’re here to guide you. In partnership with Blackstar Security, this two-hour information session will give you a clear overview of our seven-day, in-person SIA course - designed to help you gain your Security Industry Authority license.
Once enrolled, this free course will provide:
- expert guidance on the SIA licensing process
- essential skills and qualifications for security roles
- support in completing your license application (included in the course).

When: Monday, 29 June from 11am to 3pm
Seven-day course
When: Monday, 6 July to Tuesday, 14 July 2026, from 9:30am to 5pm
Eligibility
You must:
- be 18 or over,
- complete a DBS check,
- have valid ID and address,
- be available to attend all days of training,
- achieve a minimum of level 1 English (assessment done on information day).
