Trafalgar Court Gets a Fresh Look

During a door knocking event, residents at Trafalgar Court raised concerns about safety and the condition of the external communal areas. The perimeter fence was broken, making the area feel unsafe and the front door was broken. The communal garden also needed some maintenance and clearing up. Other concerns included fly tipping and poor maintenance.

In response, Clarion staff organised an action day to carry out repairs and improvements. With support from the repairs and estates teams:

• The bike shed roof was repaired and treated with protective coating.
• Two additional washing lines were installed.
• The damaged, rear, perimeter fence was replaced.
• Funding was also secured to clear and re-turf the communal garden with fresh grass, creating a usable and beautiful outside space for residents.
