Find out about local projects making your communities greener and promoting all things outdoors.
Guardians of the Green Spaces is a new podcast series made by our volunteer national ambassadors. Its aim is to inspire you to explore your local outside areas and help make your communities greener and more enjoyable.
Our ambassadors (residents aged 17-25 who ensure young people have a say in shaping our services) are passionate about improving their communities and providing a voice for young people.
They were inspired to create the podcast after being asked to help solve a Big Brilliant Business Problem by Clarion: to address young people’s concerns about the future of our planet.
Guardians of the Green Spaces
In the first podcast series, Guardians of the Green Spaces, the ambassadors are on a mission to get residents involved in initiatives to make local communities greener, by embracing all things outdoors and encouraging you to explore your local outside areas.
Featured in each episode are interviews with special guests talking about their work in Clarion neighbourhoods across the country, including a number of green-fingered residents and local community organisations.
With episodes uploaded to SoundCloud, Spotify and Google every three to four weeks, you can get involved in all the latest conversations by clicking ‘Follow’ on the page, or via our Instagram. channel.
If you or someone you know would like to feature on the podcast to talk about a project you work on, or something you are passionate about in your community, please email: ambassadors@clarionhg.com
