We know that our residents know their patch the best. That is why we created Clarion 55, a National Ambassador network for people aged 55 and over, where you can have your say, influence our services and programmes, and make a genuine difference in your communities.
With a representative from each region, our invaluable ambassadors provide a strategic voice for residents, and support age friendly and intergenerational projects.
Over the last two years, the ambassadors have looked at ways to tackle social isolation and loneliness, which has led to Clarion funding pilot projects. This includes the national Homeshare project and a wellbeing scheme. The Clarion 55 network also works with our young national ambassadors, aged 18 to 25, to identify similar experiences that span across both age groups.
We are always on the lookout for passionate residents to join the group, share ideas and help to make a positive impact on your community. What’s more, you will be offered training opportunities to meet and work with inspiring change-makers from across the country. Together, you will have your say on the matters that are most important to you and ensure the voice of your peers is heard, too.
