Amy’s Place is a partnership between the Amy Winehouse Foundation and Clarion Housing, providing Supported Housing for young women aged between 18 and 30 in recovery from addiction.
Residents of Amy’s Place recently spent five days sailing in Cornwall with Sailing Tectona. Sailing Tectona run recovery voyages -residential sailing experiences for people in recovery from mental ill- health, or drug and alcohol misuse.
Participating fully in the sailing experience and overcoming challenges, helps attendees grow in confidence, resilience, and self-worth. Residents learned how to pull up the anchor, raise the sails and steer the boat, working together as a group and supporting each other through the experience, having a great time along the way!
