Supporting the NSPCC this Childhood Day

Clarion

We are pleased to announce a three-year partnership with the NSPCC, starting this Childhood Day, on Friday, 7 June.

Childhood Day focuses on raising awareness about children's rights and well-being.

Building Connections

In the first year of the new partnership, we will be supporting the NSPCC’s Building Connections online service, which empowers young people to build their confidence and find ways to better deal with loneliness.

Through an 11-week programme, young people up to the age of 19work with a trained befriender who guides and champions them each step of the way.

Listen up, Speak up

We are also supporting the NSPCC's "Listen up, Speak up" campaign, which encourages every adult in the UK to take part in a 10-minute digital training course to learn how to listen up and speak up for children.

The campaign includes:

  • How to spot signs that a child might be at risk, and steps you can take to help
  • How to approach difficult conversations to help keep children safe
  • Who you can contact if you’re ever concerned about a child or their family

Listen Up, Speak Up is part of the NSPCC's broader work to protect children and ensure their safety and well-being.
