Are you looking for a meaningful way to support your community? Shared Lives is a simple but powerful idea: you welcome an adult with care needs into your home for short breaks, regular visits or longer stays. By sharing everyday life, you help them live more independently while giving family carers a well-earned rest.
Clarion Futures, in partnership with Birmingham City Council, is holding a series of free roadshow events where you can discover what it means to be a Shared Lives Carer.
You don’t need special skills – just kindness, patience and a spare room.
