Want to work in the construction industry?
A fully funded CSCS programme is now available for young people under 19, designed to help you take the first step towards a career in construction.
About the programme
This short programme will equip you with essential qualifications and skills to start working on-site. By the end, you will gain:
- Level 1 Health & Safety in Construction
- CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test
- CSCS Green Labourers Card
- An opportunity to meet an employer
You'll also receive employability support, including CV writing, identifying transferable skills, and interview preparation.
Programme schedule
Delivered over four days:
- Thursday, 15 January 2026: Registration day, 10am - 1pm
- Thursday, 22 January 2026: Level 1 Health & Safety training, 10am - 4:30pm
- Friday, 23 January 2026: Revision & Meet the Employer, 10am - 1pm
CITB Test Day: Booked after completion
Eligibility
- Under 19 years old
- Must attend all sessions
- Actively ready for work
