You can choose between a daytime or evening course, giving you the flexibility to best fit your schedule.
About the programme
At the end of the 12-week programme (one day per week), you will gain a NCFE CACHE Level 2 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
This qualification equips you with the knowledge and skills required to work in an education environment, while preparing you to work as a Teaching Assistant.
This course will help you support the wellbeing and development of a child or young person. You’ll also gain essential skills and knowledge in:
- Understanding how schools operate as organisations
- How to succeed in a school interview
- Support with updating your CV
Starting Tuesday, 21 April 2026, this course will be delivered remotely on Zoom.
