Knitting fit for Royalty

Clarion

East Herts LiveSmart resident Lydia is an avid knitter, supporting the Special Care Baby unit at her local hospital and knitting gifts for Royal babies.

Lydia was taught to knit when she was little by her mother and has been knitting ever since.

For the past five years she has knitted hats, blankets and booties for the premature babies at the hospital. Since the birth of Prince George, she has knitted gifts for the royal babies, and received lovely thank you cards each time.
Most recently, Lydia knitted a gift of matinee jackets, bonnets and cardigans for Princess Eugenie’s new baby; and looks forward to the  next Royal arrival.
