Applications open for new youth prize

Clarion

Are you aged between 16 and 25 with a bright and innovative idea to improve your neighbourhood or community? We are launching an exciting new prize developed especially for young people that will bring your winning vision to life, enhanced with support from community experts and a £5,000 prize pot dedicated to getting your project off the ground.

Following three successful years of running The William Sutton Prize, we are delighted to introduce a brand new youth-focussed award - The William Sutton Prize for Young Innovators. We are seeking fresh and inventive ideas that will make a positive impact on our communities and offer creative ways to help tackle the issues or challenges under these four key themes:

  • Environment and Sustainability
  • Youth Homelessness
  • Age-Friendly Communities
  • Clarion Young Resident Ideas

Whether your idea is big or small, we want to hear about it. Applicants with the best entries will be invited to a celebratory prize giving event in London on Wednesday, 9 March 2022. The winners will each receive a hamper bursting with goodies, have access to mentoring and help developing your skills, alongside being matched with a community partner who will help you deliver your bright idea.
