Would you like to use your skills, knowledge, and experience to support issues affecting Clarion residents in the London Borough of Merton?

We are looking for someone to join our Merton Community Panel as a voluntary Chair member and help make a difference.

The role of the Chair Member

We are looking for someone who can bring knowledge and a fresh perspective to the Merton community.

You must be passionate, hard-working and able to communicate effectively, and understand a variety of information.

It is important you are good at developing effective working relationships with fellow panel members and staff at Clarion.

You will also need to:

  • Live in the London Borough of Merton
  • Be computer literate
  • Have experience of budget management.

We will provide a tailored training and induction programme for the successful candidate.

Time commitment

It is essential you can commit to four to six meetings a year and travel to and from the meeting points, in and around the Merton area.

Please note, the role of the Merton Chair member is voluntary, so you will not be paid for your time.

Who can apply?

  • You do not need to be a Clarion Housing resident, but you must live in the London Borough of Merton.

The closing date for applications is 11pm on Monday, 27 March 2023.

Interviews will be held week commencing Friday. 14 April 2023.
