A glimpse of Merton's transformation with Tom Copley, Deputy Mayor

Clarion

In September, Clare Miller, Clarion Housing Group’s Chief Executive, and Rob Lane, Chief Property Officer, welcomed Tom Copley, Deputy Mayor, for a site visit at Merton.

As Deputy Mayor for Housing and Residential Development, Tom toured the site and met our teams and residents during the visit.

Tina, whose home has had works done as part of our retrofit programme, shared her thoughts with Tom about the work - its positive impact, and the improvements it has brought to her overall living environment.

Next, they headed to the High Path estate, a new regeneration project taking shape.

Maggie, a resident for over 30 years on the estate, expressed her delight with her new home, particularly the balcony and the size of the rooms.

Finally, they met Patricia, who is part of a later phase of the programme and has a number of years before she moves. Patricia thanked our team for keeping her updated and is looking forward to the new homes being built on the estate.
