Spotlight on Clarion Commitments: Estate Services

This quarter we’re shining a spotlight on Commitment no. 5, which focuses on keeping our neighbourhoods safe, clean and well maintained.

Our estate services team are responsible for a range of caretaking duties - from communal cleaning and managing bulk rubbish, to reporting faults and dealing with issues. They also carry out grounds maintenance tasks to keep landscaped areas well-kept.

The team are committed to delivering a high-quality service and providing a pleasant environment for our residents. As part of the monthly Commitments performance reporting, estate services are measured on these key areas:

  • Regularly inspecting estates and communal areas to ensure they are clean, well-maintained, and clear of fire hazards and rubbish
  • Removing graffiti within set timeframes
  • Regularly trimming and tidying grassed areas, shrubs, and hedges

In addition to the standards we set, our estate service also benefits from the involvement of residents who volunteer as Community Inspectors.
