Do you live in Tower Hamlets or Havering and have a bright idea that would make a positive difference to your community and help it thrive?
Would it work towards improving the lives of those living in your area?
Funded and supported by Clarion Futures, The Old Ford Community Panel offer three grants you can apply for:
Micro grants
Small grants of up to £1,000 for residents and start-ups with a good idea. The fund could support with hosting community events, buying equipment for group activities, or to pilot a smaller scale project.
Resident-led ideas grants
Have you got a great project idea but not sure how to get it off the ground?
This grant is open to residents who will not only receive funding, but be matched with an organisation who will help deliver the project for you.
Grants to organisations
Do you know a local organisation that could do with a boost or additional support? Up to £5,000 can be awarded to good causes in your community.
With communities facing fresh challenges, now is a good time to create change and help enhance the lives of your neighbours. There is no age limit and you don't need any previous experience.
How to apply
No idea is too big or too small. The panel has funded a variety of ideas, including a cooking class, knitting club, hair braiding sessions, art and photography exhibitions, and numerous local charitable initiatives.
