Clarion residents came together in October for the annual Resident Scrutiny Committee (RSC), Board and Resident Committee away day, celebrating the impact residents have on our services and exploring how they can continue to shape our priorities for the future.
The event brought together RSC members, Board and Resident Committee members alongside colleagues from across Clarion, creating an opportunity to share experiences, discuss challenges and identify ways to improve services. Through presentations, discussions and workshops, attendees reflected on achievements from the past year and looked ahead to future priorities. The day also provided valuable opportunities for residents to share their views directly with senior staff members, Resident Committee members and Clarions Housing Association Board members to discuss the issues that matter most to their communities. and discuss the issues that matter most to their communities.
The away day highlighted the important role residents play in helping us understand what is working well and where improvements can be made. By sharing feedback, experiences and ideas, residents continue to influence decisions that affect homes, neighbourhoods and services.
What is the Resident Scrutiny Committee?
The Resident Scrutiny Committee is made up of residents from different regions who work together to review and challenge aspects of our services.
Members bring their experiences and perspectives to help identify improvements and ensure residents’ needs remain at the heart of decision-making. Their work helps us improve the services we provide and make positive changes for residents.
