No, we’ll continue to carry out repairs and maintenance the same way we do now. For any planned repairs and maintenance, we’ll decide which homes to work on by assessing them based on the regeneration phasing programme.

No. As a Clarion Housing tenant your tenancy terms and conditions will stay the same when you move into your new home.  

Your rent will be calculated in the same way as it is now.

As long as you are a Clarion Housing tenant and you have the Right to Buy now, you can buy your replacement home as soon as you move in. 

If you’re a Clarion Housing tenant and would like to move to another neighbourhood, contact your regeneration manager who will discuss your options with you.  

Regeneration will not change how we calculate your service charges. However, your service charge may change depending on the type of home you move into. For example, if your new home has more facilities or green space that requires maintenance.

The cost of a new home is worked out on an individual basis. We can only tell you the price once we’ve determined that we need your existing home.

No. If you move in, you won’t be in debt to Clarion. You’ll own your new home outright from the day you move in.

Any valuation of your home will be carried out by an independent contractor. It will take into account a number of things, like any improvements you’ve made.

After we’ve put together a fair and reasonable offer, we’ll do all we can to reach an agreement with you. But as a last resort, we’ll seek to acquire properties using compulsory purchase powers. This is the legal right to buy a property without the consent of the owner.
