School’s finally out and for a good few weeks that means finding things to entertain the kids with during the long, sunny days. For families living in Bow, look no further than the Roman Road Adventure Playground.
Offering parents and carers a fully supervised, safe space for their children to play and explore, our qualified playworkers have planned an abundance of fun, imaginative activities and inspiring opportunities for children to flex their creativity, all completely free.
What is on offer:
- Exciting play structures: designed for fun and physical challenges
- Free creative and social activities: planned and facilitated by our experienced Playwork team
- Tuck shop: snacks and drinks are available to buy alongside free fruit and water.

If you are looking for free activities, please come and meet our team. Once you register your children, they can pop along over the summer holidays to take advantage of this fantastic space.
Please note, play can be messy! Old clothes are recommended and be prepared for water play on hot days.
Building stronger communities, one adventure at a time
Located in the heart of Tower Hamlets and funded by Clarion Futures, the Roman Road Adventure Playground is a vibrant and engaging space where children aged 6 to 14 can play together all year round without their adults. It is the perfect setting for making friends, trying out new hobbies and skills, and having fun away from the glare of screens.
