Understanding STAIRs
All social housing landlords must meet new government requirements called Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements (STAIRs).
STAIRs is designed to make it easier for residents to access information about their home, landlord and the services they receive. It aims to improve transparency by making information easier to find and understand.
How STAIRs information works
STAIRs works in two ways: through information we publish and information you can request.
Information we publish (our publication scheme)
Our publication scheme is the information we publish under STAIRs.
We’ve grouped this information into the STAIRs categories below to make it easier to find. Each category includes links to more detailed information about our services, performance, how we manage your home and more.

Information you can request
If you can't find the information you need online, you'll be able to make a STAIRs information request (from April 2027).

Our commitment to transparency
Being open and transparent about how we perform and the services we provide isn't new. We already publish a wide range of information across our website and other publications. STAIRs builds on this by making it easier for residents to find and access that information.

About STAIRs information requests
STAIRs information requests will be available from April 2027. Until then, you can use the STAIRs categories above to find information available across our website.
There may be times when we're unable to provide the information requested because of legal requirements, confidentiality, data protection or other restrictions we must follow. If this happens, we'll explain why and, where possible, provide alternative information or guidance.
Information about you or your household
If you're looking for information about you, your household or your tenancy, or want to know what personal information Clarion holds about you, you'll need to make a Subject Access Request (SAR).
STAIRs is different. It gives you access to wider information about how Clarion manages homes and delivers services, rather than personal information about you.
